LINGOXING owns all intellectual property rights in the resources it sells (PDF flashcards, writing sheets, workbooks and other downloadable files) and in the free resources it publishes on its website and social media (together, the “Resources”). When you buy a Resource, you are buying a limited licence to use it under the terms below — not the Resource itself. Copyright is never transferred.
By purchasing or downloading a Resource, you agree to these terms.
1 – Your licence We grant you a personal, perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to use the Resource for the permitted uses below. A licence is for one person. To have additional people use the Resource, please purchase additional licences.
2 – Permitted uses This licence covers the following:
- Personal use: study, review and unlimited printing for yourself and your household.
- Single-teacher use: if you are a teacher, you may use the Resource with your own students — for lesson preparation and in your own classes, online or in person, including private tutoring, and including with a classroom assistant or a substitute teacher covering your class. Using a purchased Resource in your own teaching — whether you teach for free or for a living — is an educational use and is permitted; it is not “commercial use” under section 3.
- Wherever you teach: if you personally purchased the Resource, you may use it with your own students even when your classes take place at a school or institution. An institutional licence is only needed when the Resource is purchased by, or shared across, more than one teacher or the institution itself (see section 4).
3 – Prohibited uses You may not:
- resell, share, send, sublicense, transfer or otherwise redistribute the Resource, in whole or in part, even for someone else’s personal use;
- sell printed copies of the Resource, including to your own students;
- post or make the Resource available on any website, social media, shared drive, forum or archive;
- edit, alter, crop, rebrand or create derivative works from the Resource;
- use the Resource for commercial purposes — meaning selling it, using it in advertising, or reselling or repackaging the content itself (a teacher’s own classes are an educational use, not commercial use — see section 2);
- use the Resource across multiple teachers, or on behalf of a school or institution, without an appropriate licence (see section 4).
4 – Schools and institutions For use by more than one teacher, or by a school, language centre or other institution, please contact us at contact@lingoxing.com. A suitable licence can be arranged.
5 – Ownership and enforcement All Resources remain the property of LINGOXING. No licence transfers copyright. Unauthorised copying, sharing or distribution is a breach of this agreement and of copyright law, and may be reported, including via a DMCA takedown notice.
6 – Digital delivery and refunds Resources are delivered as digital downloads. Purchases are individually licensed and downloaded files may carry order identification. In accordance with our Terms of Sale, the right of withdrawal no longer applies once access to the download has been granted and you have agreed at checkout.
